Services were held at the Union Baptist Church on Sept. 22, 1985, at 2 p.m. Rev. J. P. King, Rev. Johnny Garrett, Rev. Walter Ledford, and Rev. Joe Ratcliff officiated. Burial was in the Belmont Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Skinner was preceded in death by her late husband, Lemuel Skinner. Survivors include two sons, L. B. Skinner of Many, and Joe E. Skinner of Belmont; one daughter, Mrs. Loraine Jarrell of Bastrop, La.; one brother, Ray Callens of Kilgore, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Edna Mae Brown of Longview, Tex.; and two great grandchildren.
