Interment followed in Belmont Cemetery, under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Rev. Earl Belver, and Rev. Johnny Garret officiated. Mr. Skinner, who was born March 4, 1929, in Pleasant Hill, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Skinner of Tarkington, Texas; mother, Martha Skinner of Belmont; sons, David Bergeron and wife Glenna of California, Steve Chandler of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Michael Skinner of Dayton, Texas; daughters, Diane Rouse and husband David of Pasadena, Texas, Lisa Smith and husband Melvin of Huffman, Texas, and Sandra Mathis and husband Gary of Salado, Texas; brother L. W. Skinner and wife Betty of Houston, Texas; sister, Bobbie Marshall and husband Dwane of Temple, Texas; and eleven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bill Cunningham, Alvie Heuszel, John Wood, Paul Fletcher, James Early, Wayne Rittick, Tom Mizell, Ronnie Wells, and Charles Moore.
