Martha Truman Skinner

  Funeral services for Martha Truman Skinner, 84, were held
Monday, October 1, at the Union Baptist Church, beginning at 2
p.m. Interment followed in the Belmont Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Garrett,
and Rev. J. P. King officiated.

  Mrs. Skinner passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Sabine
Medical Center.

  She is survived by her son, Louis Skinner and his wife Betty,
both of Spring, Texas; one daughter, Bobbie Marshall and her
husband Dwain, both of Temple; two sisters, Katie Halley from
Belmont, and Irma McCormick of Zwolle; two brothers, Rev. Walter
Halley of Silsbee, Texas, and Rudolph Halley of Belmont; nine
grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
