Rev. Joe Ratcliff officiated. Burial was followed at Belmont Cemetery. Mrs. Skinner died Wednesday, July 14, 1993, at Sabine Medical Center in Many. Mrs. Skinner graduated from Northwestern State University, with a Bachelors Degree, was a class room teacher and librarian for 35 years in the Sabine Parish School System, was a member of the La. and Sabine Parish Retired Teachers Association. Survivors include her husband, L. B. Skinner of Many; four sisters, Augie Miller of Natchitoches, Les Cash of Clayton, Ala., Julie Roberts of Pasadena, Tex., Billie James of Natchitoches; two brothers, Phil Darnell of Natchitoches, and Jay Darnell of Clinton, Okla.; two grandchildren, Nancy Webb, and Chuck Mains; one great grandchild, Corinne Webb. Mrs. Skinner was preceded in death by a daughter, Bea Beth Skinner Mains. Pallbearers were Butch Darnell, Eugene Easley, Floyd Glover, Robert W. Colquite, Joe Skinner, and Charles Mains.
