Velda Skinner

  Funeral services for Velda Skinner, 98, were held at 2 p.m.,
Friday, Dec. 29, at the Union Baptist Church in Belmont.

  Rev. Johnny Garrett officiated, with burial in the Belmont
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Miss Skinner died on Dec. 27, in Shreveport. She was born on
Oct. 15, 1897, to Joseph and Martha Skinner in Belmont.

  Survivors are one sister, Rena Booth of Shreveport; one niece,
Janet Munden of Many; two nephews, Joe Skinner of Belmont, and L.
B. Skinner of Many.
