All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Lemmie Skinner Lemmie Skinner, 74, died in a Zwolle hospital, after a short illness Friday, March 25, at 2:25 p.m. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Evie Skinner of Belmont; two sons, Joe E. Skinner of Belmont, and L. B. Skinner of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Don Agee of Franklin, and Mrs. Hearn Jarrell of Bastrop; one brother, W. H. Skinner of Center; three sisters, Mrs. M. O. Both, and Miss Zelda Skinner, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. W. I. Emmons of Haynesville; one grandchild; and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held in the Belmont Baptist Church Sunday, March 27, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Walker Ledford, and the Rev. O. S. Roberts officiating. Burial was in the Belmont Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were O. O. Callens, R. A. Haley, W. M. Fenston, Bob Callens, Homer Campbell, and Larry Skinner.
