Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Earl Marr, and the Rev. Jimmy Edwards officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include her husband, Monroe Skinner of Florien; one son, John Amos Skinner of Shreveport; one stepson, Aaron Monroe Skinner of Converse; two step daughters, Mrs. Lynell Briley of Shreveport, and Mrs. Maydell Carr of Longview, Tex.; four brothers, George, and Caradus Davis of Florien, Aubrey Davis of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Kenneth Davis of West Monroe; five sisters, Mrs. Christine Huff of Madis?, Georgia, Mrs. Irene Pentecost of Many, Mrs. Kathleen Robicheaux of Lafayette, Mrs. Maxine Bird of Shreveport, and Mrs. Earnestine Hamilton of Ft. Worth, Tex.; and one grandchild. Pallbearers were Billy Roy Skinner, Roy Weldon, Milton Weldon, O. R. Mothershed, Eddie Anderson, and A. J. Dupre.
