Harold L. Smart

  Funeral services for Harold L. Smart, were held at 2 p.m.,
Friday, October 26, in the Hixson Funeral Home Chapel, with the
Rev. Morris Goins, and Rev. Wallace Palmer officiating. Burial
followed in the Castor Cemetery in Leesville.

  Mr. Smart, 51, of Anacoco, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, in
the Byrd Memorial Hospital.

  He was born in Leesville, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was
the owner-operator of Harold's One Stop Convenience Store, and
was employed by the Sabine River Authority.

  Mr. Smart is survived by his wife, Anna Jane Smart of Anacoco;
one daughter, Jana Lynn Smart of Anacoco; five brothers, Darrell
Smart of Havelock, North Carolina, Malcolm Smart of Leesville,
Albert Smart of Houston, Texas, Dawin Smart of Alexandria, and
Harley Smart of Leesville.
