Mrs. Minnie K. Scroggins

  Last rites for Mrs. Minnie K. Scroggins, age 72, who died March
21, were conducted at Warren Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m.,
March 22, with Bro. Earl Marr officiating. Interment was under
the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Lester Johnson, Cornelius Semons, James H.
Hale, Bill Shackleford, Bert Crowley, and A. G. Stewart.

  Survivors include sons, Vernon of Hornbeck, W. O., and Douglas
of Leesville; daughters, Mrs. Wanda Walker, Mrs. Bert Crowley,
both of Shreveport, Mrs. L. W. DuBose of Bossier City, Mrs. W. C.
Simmons of Port Arthur, Texas, Mrs. Lucy Whitehead of New
Orleans, Mrs. A. G. Stewart of Sulphur, Mrs. C. B. Crow of
McDade, Texas; brother, Dave Gunter of Leesville; two sisters,
Mrs. Mack Massey, and Mrs. Solphie Phillips of Leesville; 16
grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
