Elizabeth Short

  Elizabeth Short, 75, of Marthaville, died Wednesday, March 21,
at her residence, after a long illness.

  The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 24, in Antioch
Vine Church in Pelican, with the Rev. M. C. Miller officiating.
Burial followed in Wallace Cemetery in Pelican, under the
direction of Miller-Pioneer Funeral Home of Minden.

  Survivors include one sister, Sara Jane Clark of Pelican; and
three brothers, Wesley Howard, and Jim Howard, both of Pelican,
and Charley Howard of Robeline.
