William L. Sherwood

  Services for Mr. William L. Sherwood, 81, were at 10:30 a.m.,
Monday, Jan. 4, at Fellowship Baptist Church near Converse. The
Rev. Higgins, pastor, officiated. Burial was at Oak Grove
Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home.

  A resident of Converse, Mr. Sherwood died Saturday, Jan. 2, at a
Jackson hospital, after a long illness.

  He is survived by a sister, Miss Juanita Sherwood, Pineville; a
brother, J. B. Sherwood, Converse; and a number of nieces and
nephews.
