Luther Sherwood

  Luther Henry Sherwood, 78, a retired farmer, died in his home in
Converse.

  Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m., April 14, in Fellowship
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Melton Prothro, and the Rev. Don
Brown officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, under the
direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include his widow; two sons, S. L. Sherwood, Port
Arthur, Tex., and T. B. Sherwood of Converse; two daughters, Mrs.
Seth Magee of Shelbyville, Tex., and Mrs. Leo Carrell of Ohio;
one sister, Mrs. W. D. Gates of Converse; seven grandchildren;
and six great grandchildren.
