Roy Gene Shirley

  Services for Mr. Roy Gene Shirley, 55, of Natchitoches, were
held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 21, in Calvary Baptist Church,
with the Revs. Earl Marr, and Russell Jamison officiating. Burial
was held in the church cemetery, under the direction of
Blanchard-St. Denis.

  Shirley died Thursday, in the Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

  He was a service manager for Red River Lincoln Mercury. A native
of Walron, Ark., he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

  Survivors include his wife, Edelene B. Shirley; one son, Mark
Shirley; two daughters, Becky Monsour, and Kim Oliver, all of
Natchitoches; four brothers, Marvin Shirley of Aztec, N. M.,
Robert Shirley of Many, Edgar Shirley of Natchitoches, and
Clifford F. Shirley of Winnsboro; and seven grandchildren.
