Katie "Beth" Shirley

  Funeral services for Katie "Beth" Shirley, age 44, were held on
Sunday, July 12, 1992, at 2:30 p.m., in the chapel of Southern
Funeral Home in Winnfield. Mrs. Shirley passed away in the
Winnfield Hospital, on July 11, 1992, after a short illness.
Services were conducted by Rev. Clifford Shirley of Monterey,
under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Burial followed in
the Cypress Creek Cemetery.

  Mrs. Shirley is survived by her husband, Ronald R. Shirley of
Winnfield; three sons, Darrius Shirley, and Ryan Shirley, both of
Winnfield, and Vaughn Shirley and his wife Karen of Natchitoches;
two grandchildren, Timothy, and Rachel of Natchitoches; and one
brother, Lynn Dean of Evergreen. She was preceded in death by one
daughter; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Dean.

  Pallbearers were David Shirley, Jonesville; Keith Shirley, Mike
Shirley, and Mark Shirley of Natchitoches, Edward Shirley of Dry
Creek, and Randy Shirley of Aztec, N. M.

  Mrs. Beth Shirley is survived locally by her father-in-law and
mother-in-law, Robert and Edna Shirley of Many.
