The Sabine Index - August 23, 1973

  George W. Sirmon

  George W. Sirmon, 65, died on August 15, in Logansport, after a
short illness.

  Funeral services were held Friday, August 17 at 10:30 a.m. in
the Many First Baptist Church with the Rev. Perry Lassiter and
Rev. W. E. Spencer officiating. Burial was at the Many Cemetery
with Warren Meadows Funeral Home handling the arrangements.

  Mr. Sirmons survived by his wife, Mrs. Allie Sirmon, and one
sister, Mrs. Willie Sirmon. Pallbearers were Mack Wagley, Felton
Murphy, Michael Slay, Page Wagley, Wade Pines, David Slay, Melvin
Murphy and Gene Pines.
