The Rev. Jerry Schmucker, pastor of Noble Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Guy Murphrey, pastor of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Stanley. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley. Mr. Sirman, a former resident of Logansport, died Nov. 8, 1986, in Keithville, following a short illness. He was a native of Sabine Parish, and a resident of Keithville, for the past 31 years. He was a retired carpenter, and a member of Carpenters Local 764. He was Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Addie Sirman of Keithville; five sons, Mr. Earl Sirman of Keithville, Mr. Benny Sirman of Vivian, Mr. Walter Sirman of Mustang, Okla., Mr. Richard Sirman, Mr. Dale Sirman, both of Keithville; four daughters, Mrs. Anna Frances Harrison of Carthage, Mrs. Lanette Smith, Mrs. Gail Ainsworth, Mrs. Barbara Cardone, all of Shreveport; three sisters, Minnie Durdin, Evelyn Nora Lewing, both of Houston, Alice Rose of Leesville; one brother, Mr. Jessie Sirman of West Sacramento, Calif.; 23 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Clifton Smith, Homer Magill, Phillip Magill, Bill Williams, Bill Sanford, and Y. T. Barton.
