All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Allie Slay Sirmon Services for Allie Slay Sirmon, 87, were held at Warren Meadows Funeral Home on Monday, May 13, 1996, at 2 p.m. Mrs. Sirmon was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Sirman. Interment followed at Many Cemetery, with Rev. Bill Hines, minister of the First Baptist Church, and assisted by Rev. Bob Spear, officiating. Mrs. Sirmon passed away May 10, 1996, in Many. Mrs. Sirmon lived in Many, teaching for many years. Later, she and her husband made their home in Logansport, where she retired from teaching school. For the last twenty three years, she has been a resident of Many, and an active member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by three sisters, Maude Thedford, Lee Wagley, and Louise Wagley, all of Many. Pallbearers were the nephews, Phillip Slay, S. J. Westbrook, Charles Poche, David Slay, Loys Vidler, and King Vidler. The family would like to give special thanks to Marie Webb, Marie Crutchfield, and Mary, who gave many hours of loving care.
