Jerry Don Toopes

  Funeral services for Jerry Don Toopes, 59, of Zwolle, were held
Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1996, at 2 p.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic
Church, with Father David Richter officiating. Interment was at
St. Joseph's Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Military graveside services were conducted by the Sabine Chapter
No. 21, of the DAV.

  Mr. Toopes passed away Monday, Oct. 28, in Many.

  He is survived by two daughters, Darlene Anderson, and Lisa
Meshell, both of Zwolle; one son, Gerald Toopes, also of Zwolle;
two brothers, Bob Toopes, and Bill Toopes, both of Piqua, Ohio;
and seven grandchildren.
