The Sabine Index - Henry G. Tibbits

  15 Jun 1951 - Last rites for Henry G. Tibbits, 78, who passed
away at the home of his daughter in Houston, Texas Wednesday of
last week were held 4 p.m. Friday at Rocky Springs church near
Marthaville by Rev. C. V. Kemp of Atlanta, Texas. Interment was
under direction Warren funeral home.

  Pallbearers were: G. T. Robbins, H. H. Tibbits, Bill Pruitt,
E. M. Tibbit, E. J. Josey and Clifton Olliff.

  Surviving relatives include: sons, Fred and Nemon
Tibbits of Atlanta, Texas; daughters, Mrs. Luke Bell, Rosebud,
Texas, Mrs. G. T. Robbins, Mrs. R. C. Quarles and Mrs. O. B.
Hopson, all of Houston, Texas; sister, Mrs. Jennie Pruitt,
Anacoco; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
