Funeral services were held at Rocky Springs Baptist Church, Saturday, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. George Albriton, and the Rev. Johnnie Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Surviving relatives include four sons, Earnest Tibbitts of Oakdale, K. D. Tibbitts of Anacoco, Rev. Houston Tibbitts of Many, Roscoe Tibbitts of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Myrtie Lee Josey of Anacoco, Mrs. Lessie Perkins of Pitkin, and Mrs. Ruby Olliff of Robeline; one sister, Mrs. Pearlie Palmer of Ajo, Ariz.; 22 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandsons, R. J., and Tommy Josey, Billy Max, and Ronnie Tibbits, Charles, and James Olliff.
