Luther J. Thibodeaux

  Funeral services for Luther J. Thibodeaux, 83, of Provencal,
were held Thursday, July 10, in Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home,
with the Rev. Leamon Manasco officiating. Burial was in the
Provencal Cemetery.

  He died July 8, in Sabine Medical Center. Mr. Thibodeaux was a
native of Provencal, a member of Provencal First Baptist Church,
and a retired logger.

  He is survived by two sons, J. L. Thibodeaux of Shreveport, and
Easton Thibodeaux of DeRidder; two daughters, Mrs. Gwenona
McDonald of Many, and Mrs. Sharon Massey of Porter, Tex.; ten
grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Vernon Wester, Red Scarborough, Sid Withers, E.
L. Moss, Hershal Haley, and Charlie Weeks.
