Arthur Duhart Tooke

  Arthur Dughart Tooke, 70 years old, died in Portland, Oregon on
September 25,1985.

  Funeral services were held in the Mt. Scott Funeral Home in
Portland, Oregon, on September 27, with Chaplain Roger Sinnot
officiating. Burial was in the Willamette National Cemetery,
under the direction of Mt. Scott Funeral Home.

  Mr. Tooke is survived by his wife, Mary Tooke of Portland, Ore.;
one daughter, Sonia Marie Woods of Portland; one son, Allen Tooke
of Portland; and two grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Welker of
Tucson, Ariz., and Bobbie Boudreaux of Crowley; three brothers,
Parrott Tooke of LaPlace, La., Alvin Tooke, and Cecil Tooke, both
of Zwolle.

  Mr. Tooke graduated from Belmont High School in 1934, and
enlisted in the Army at Ft. Bliss, Tex., in 1936. He made the
Army his career, and served in the Pacific and Europe.

  After retiring, he settled in Portland, Oregon, and this was his
residence until his death.
