  Mrs. J. C. Tooke - December 13, 1973

  Funeral services for Mrs. James C. Tooke, 80, were in the
Davidson Funeral Home chapel at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 with Nels
Thompson officiating, assisted by A. O. Jenkins.

  Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery.

  Mrs. Took died Wednesday, Dec. 5.

  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mildred T. Bell of Robeline;
three sons, Elmer A Tooke of Rayville, James Franklin Tooke of
Bartlesville, Okla. and David B. Tooke of Homer; two sisters,
Mrs. Oscar Parker of Grand Cane and Mrs. Jewel White of Lisbon;
two brothers, John English of Shreveport and Frank English of
Lisbon; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
