She was born in Zwolle, and was employed with St. Martinville Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., March 3, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with interment following at All Saints Cemetery in Loreauville. Father Aaron Melancon, and Father Austin Leger officiated. Survivors include husband, Glen Touchet of St. Martinville; three daughters, Danielle Parrie, Darnelle Parrie, and Michelle Parrie, all of St. Martinville; and one son, David Parrie of St. Martinville; three sisters, Dorothy Boudreaux, and Helen LaGrange, both of Loreauville, and Mrs. Maurice Wanda Martinez of Noble; one brother, Jackie and wife Annie Parrie of Noble. Mrs. Touchet was preceded in death by her parents, Rupert Parrie, and Louise Remedies Parrie; and brother, Patrick Joseph Parrie. Pallbearers were Jerry LaGrange Jr., Peter LaGrange, Neil Calvit, Russell Touchet, Brad Boudreaux, and Ken Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers were St. Martinville Nursing Home employees, employees of Breaux's Baycraft, Royce Gaudin, Roy Breaux Jr., Pam Champagne, and Reuben "Beno" Talley.
