O. E. Touchton

  O. E. Touchton, 68, of Many, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 8:35 a.m.,
after an extended illness.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Maudie Touchton of Many;
three daughters, Mrs. Betty Dykes, and Mrs. Hazel Holmes, both of
Houston, and Mrs. Malva Veuleman of Zwolle; three brothers, Otis
Touchton of Pleasant Hill, Allen Touchton of Memphis, Tenn., and
J. D. Touchton of San Antonio, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Austin
of Doyline, and Mrs. Annie Mae Greer of Noble; 10 grandchildren,
and 4 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan 5, at 2 p.m., in the
Union Baptist Church of Belmont, with the Rev. J. P. King, and
the Rev. Guy Burr officiating. Interment was in the Belmont
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
