Mr. Jason Douglas Thaxton

  Mr. Jason Douglas Thaxton, 20, died Oct. 21, 1993. He is
survived by his father and stepmother, Douglas G. and Louise
Thaxton of Florien; mother, Leann Jordan Christian of Shreveport;
five sisters, Ginger Thaxton of Shreveport, Elizabeth Thaxton of
Shreveport, Shawn Rains of Florien, April Jessup of Florien, and
Anna Lee Jessup of Florien, maternal grandparents, Johnnie and
Annabel Jordan of Florien; paternal grandfather, Evon Thaxton of
Florien; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Vernie
Weldon Thaxton.

  Services were held at Cenchrea Church of the Nazarene, with
burial in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m., with the
Rev. Ron Berry, the Rev. Jimmy Evans, the Rev. Larry DeLoach
officiating.
