Jimmie Lou Touchton

  Jimmie Lou Touchton, 92, of Pleasant Hill, died Oct. 2. She was
born in Kirkville, Ms. On April 6, 1910, and moved to Pleasant
Hill at age three. She was loved and cherished by her
grandchildren, and many others. She was a member of Blue Ridge
Congregational Methodist Church.

  Funeral services were held Oct. 5, at 2 p.m., at Spring Ridge
Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, with burial following at Spring
Ridge Cemetery. The Rev. E. W. Goleman, and the Rev. Randy
Festervand officiated.

  Survivors include three stepsons, R. P. Touchton, Clifford
Touchton, and Bill Touchton; one stepdaughter, Betty Delores
Hughes; numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Kenneth Barnes, Steven Estes, Doyle Jennings,
Dr. Ben Leggio, Johnathan Mustin, and Randall Touchton.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Otis Touchton;
and stepson, Harold "Pete" Touchton.

  The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to
the staff at North Sabine Nursing Center in Pleasant Hill, the
Desoto Retirement Center in Mansfield, and to Dr. Ben Leggio for
all their loving care. The family will always be grateful for
their patience and understanding.
