Todd, 86, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Shreveport. The Rev. Bob Moore, the Rev. Billy Franks, and Chaplain Lowell Todd of the V.A. Medical Center officiated. Burial followed in the Forest Park Cemetery. Mr. Todd died at 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Todd was a native of Jamestown and lived in Shreveport since 1944. He was a retired Fireman at Barksdale Air Force Base and a member of First Baptist Church, The DAV, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War I. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emmie Todd; five sons, Lavell L. Todd, David R. Todd, Aubrey C. Todd, Maxie D. Todd, all of Shreveport, and Franklin T. Todd of Noble, two daughters, Mrs. Paul Burrows of Keithville and Mrs. Helen G. Crowton of Noble; two brothers, Luther Todd of Sacramento, Calif., and Pleasant L. Todd of Crestview, Fla.; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and 9 step-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Odell Anderson, Ronnie Farrell, David Wayne Todd, James Robert Todd, Ronald Gene Todd and Michael Todd.
