Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maude Thedford of Many; two daughters, Edwina Thedford of Fort Worth, Tex., and Anita Poche of Dallas; two sisters, Shirley Thedford, and Pauline Briley, both of Tyler, Tex.; and one grandson. Thedford was a deacon, and member of the Many First Baptist Church. He was also active in the American Legion, Royal Arch, Scottish Rite, the Shrine Club, and the Order of Eastern Star. Funeral services were held on Monday, April 25, at 2 p.m., at the Many First Baptist church. The Rev. Rod Smith officiated. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Felton Murphy, Page Wagley, Wade Pynes, Harold Clay Beaird, Michael Slay, Fred Ellis, and Red Odom.
