Moses Tidwell

  Moses Elder Tidwell, 73, of West Monroe, died Friday, Jan. 1, at his
residence, following a brief illness.

  Mr. Tidwell was a native of Union Parish. He was a retired lay minister of
the Church of Christ, and a former pastor of the Pease Chapel Church of Christ
of Haughton.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home
Chapel, in Bossier City, with the Rev. John Stanley, and the Rev. Charles A.
Davis officiating. Burial was in Pease Chapel Cemetery in Haughton.

  Survivors included one brother, B. J. Tidwell of Many.
