Pierre T. Tatum

  Services for Pierre T. Tatum, 77, of Shreveport, were held at 4
p.m., in Converse First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Richard
May, and the Rev. Jerry Schmucker officiating. Burial was in
Converse Cemetery, under direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home
of Many.

  Mr. Tatum died Wednesday at 9:25 p.m., in a Many hospital,
following a brief illness.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Tatum; a son, Sion S.
Tatum of Odessa, Tex.; three stepsons, Earl Lites of Many, Johnny
Lites of Shreveport, and Norman Lites of Lawton, Okla.; a
brother, Lester Tatum of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Cates of
Noble, and Mrs. Ercelle Edwards of Marshall, Tex., and two
grandchildren.
