B. F. Worley, officiating. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Maude Taylor Tatum of Converse; three sons, R. R. Tatum, Jr., of Shreveport, S. C. Tatum of Noble and C. L. Tatum of Bossier City; two daughters, Mrs. E. A. Hubier, Jr., of Converse and Mrs. T. H. Gregory of Mansfield; one brother, J. Wilson Tatum of Mansfield; three sisters, Mrs. J. S. Paul and Mrs. A. C. Johnson of Converse, Mrs. W. W. Strother of Pineville. Mr. Tatum, a life-long resident of Sabine Parish, was a member of the Converse Baptist Church. Pallbearers were: Z. F. Edwards, Floyd Sistrunk, W. A. Oakley, Cecil and Hubert Brumley, all of Converse, J. C. Mulloy of Noble, Freddy Hill of Mississippi and Willard Heard of Houston, Texas. Burial was in the Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Drewitt Funeral Home of Mansfield.
