"Pete" Tatum, 75, of Shreveport, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 1, in the Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Dr. Billy McCormack, and the Rev. Charles Littleton officiated. Burial followed in the Centuries Memorial Park, with full military honors. Mr. Tatum died at 2 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Barksdale Air Force Hospital, following an extended illness. He was a native of Noble, had lived in Shreveport for 35 years, and was a retired Pattern Rigger at Mid Continent Steel. He was a retired U. S. Air Force Chief Warrant Officer, after 30 years of service, and a veteran of World War II. Mr. Tatum is survived by his widow, Estella Tatum; one stepson, Stanley E. Cooley; both of Shreveport; four sisters, Ursula Edwards, Las Vegas, Nev., Marjorie Phillips, Palestine, Tex., Mrs. R. C. Ough, and Amy Stack, both of Shreveport; two brothers, Arthur L. Tatum, Monroe, and Maurice Tatum, Shreveport; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
