(Bob) Tatum, 64, of Shreveport, were at 2:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 1, at Osborn Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Centuries Memorial Park. He died at 8 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 30, at Schumpert Medical Center, after a brief illness. Mr. Tatum had been a resident of Shreveport for 45 years, and was a native of Sabine Parish. He was a World War II Veteran of the 96th Seabees Battalion, a member of the Broadmoor Baptist Church, a 32nd Degree mason, a member of the Classic Car Club of America, the Petroleum Club, the University Club, and the Lions Club. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Pauline Tatum; one daughter, Mrs. Joe B. Pierce, Jr.; three grandsons, Trey, Todd, and Brian Pierce; one granddaughter, Betsy Pierce, all of Shreveport; two brothers, Chester L. Tatum, Shreveport, and Sherman C. Tatum, Noble; two sisters, Mrs. Lura T. Hubier, Converse, and Mrs. Bobbye T. Gregory, Mansfield; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Herman VanOs, Bobby Frideau, Clifford Bayer, Jake Jacobs, George Augustson, Greg Tatum, Charlie Hubier, and Mark Tatum.
