(Amy Paul) Tatum, 80, died of a sudden illness, Oct. 21, at her home in Lake Charles. Mrs. Tatum was born in Sabine Parish, and had been a resident of Lake Charles for about 20 years. Surviving relatives include a son, J. M. Tatum Jr. of Converse; one brother, Malcom Paul of Converse; a sister, Mrs. Rita McWilliams of Converse; and 24 grandchildren. The Rev. Charles McIlzeene, a Baptist minister, officiated at services, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m., in the Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Charles. Burial was in the Noble Cemetery near Converse.
