The Sabine Index - Lucy Talley 
  
  19 Mar 1948 - Mrs. Lucy Talley, 62, died suddenly last Thursday 
at Port Neches, Texas. Funeral rites were conducted from Calvary 
Baptist church, Many, at 11 a.m. Saturday, by Rev. W. M. Greer, 
pastor, assisted by Rev. C. W. Miers. Interment was under 
direction Massingill funeral home. 
  
  Pallbearers were Elden Dees, Leroy Aldredge, W. R. Miller, A. J. 
Muse, Troy Britt and Truett Walden. 
  
  Surviving relatives include: husband, D. E. Talley, Many; son, 
C. B. Talley, Leesville; daughter, Mrs. O. M. Lay, Robeline, 
three grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Jim Aldredge, Mrs. Jack Muse, 
Mrs. J. H. Simpson, all of Many, Mrs. T. M. Aldredge, 
Natchitoches, Mrs. J. W. Simpson, Eunice; brother, Eugene Dees, 
Many.
