  Services for Mary Taylor, 85, of Converse, were held Sunday
December 11, 1994 at Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel with the Rev.
E W Lord officiating, assisted by the Rev. Joe Walberg.

  Mrs. Taylor died Friday, December 9, 1994 at DeSoto General
Hospital of a lengthy illness. She was born in Fisher and was a
housewife.

  Survivors include two sons, J P Taylor and wife Louise of
Converse, Paul Kenneth Taylor and wife Betty of Converse; two
daughters, Frances English and husband Harold of Keithville,
Myrtle Lea Lord and husband Medford of Mansfield; a sister,
Tempie Busby of Florien; a sister-in-law, Lela Randolph of
Vidalia; grandchildren Winfred and Jerry English, Carolyn Reed,
Grace Pickett, Billy Lord, Michael, Deborah, Joseph, Richard and
Jeffrey Taylor, Rene Anderson and Shona Ebarb; Sixteen
great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
