The Sabine Index - Thomas E. Tyler

  16 Aug 1951 - Last rites for Thomas E. Tyler, 73, who passed
away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Allen Butts at Silsbee,
Texas Friday, were conducted at Bayou Scie church 3 p.m. Sunday
by Rev. Jeff Holliday. Interment was under direction Warren
funeral home. Pallbearers were James Tyler, Elmer Tyler, Allen
Butts, J. L. Treadway, C. A. Tyler and James Dickson.

  Surviving relatives include: sons, Curtis and Reece Tyler of
Houston, Texas, Melvin, Elton and William Tyler of Shreveport;
daughters, Mrs. Allen Butts, Silsbee, Texas, Mrs. J. L. Treadway,
Houston, Texas, Mrs. C. A. Tyler, Tatum, N. M., Mrs. James
Dickson, Rocksport, Texas; sister, Mrs. George Allen, Noble; 18
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
