Services were at 10 a.m., Monday, in the Marshall Street Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas A. Wilson, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery, with Masonic graveside rites. A Mansfield native, Mr. Taylor had lived in Shreveport since 1923. He was a retired auto mechanic, member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, 50-year member of the Caddo Masonic Lodge No. 179, Victory Chapter of Order of Eastern Star No. 130, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Order of the Amaranth, and was a World War I Army veteran. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Walter Ware of West Monroe; and a brother, the Rev. Walker Ledford of Zwolle.
