Paul Taylor

  Funeral services for Paul Taylor, 79, of Mitchell, were held on
Monday, October 3, in the Drewitt Memorial Chapel in Mansfield,
with Bro. William Peacock, and Bro. Bill Martin officiating.

  Mr. Taylor died Sunday, October 2, 1983, at the DeSoto General
Hospital at 8:10 a.m.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary O. Taylor of Mitchell; two
daughters, Mrs. Francis English, Corsicana, Tex., and Mrs. Myrtle
Lord, Mansfield; two sons, J. P. Taylor, Texas City, Tex., and
Paul K. Taylor, Mitchell; one sister, Mrs. Josie Rippey, Joaquin,
Tex.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were his grandsons, Michael Taylor, Joseph Taylor,
Lynwood Taylor, Billey Lord, Mark Reed, Albert Pickett, David
Breville.

  His body was laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery near Converse,
awaiting the coming of our Lord.
