Carnie Franklin Tyler

  Services for Mr. Carnie Franklin Tyler, 72, of Converse, were
held at 3 p.m., Saturday, August 18, at the Drewett Memorial
Chapel in Mansfield, La. The Rev. Alfred Mitchell officiated.
Burial was in Bayou Scie Cemetery near Zwolle, La.

  Mr. Tyler died Thursday night, August 16, 1984, at Pleasant Hill
Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill, La., following a long illness.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ardell Sebastian Tyler of
Converse; a son, David Franklin Tyler of Monroe, La.; two
daughters, Mrs. Martha Viola Gardner of Los Vegas, Nevada, Mrs.
Mary Bethel Crisler of Carthage, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Jewel Mae
Cooper of Pleasant Hill; 13 grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren.
