Tyler of Many, were held Friday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m., at Bayou Scie Methodist Church, with Bro. Presley Marcantel, and Bro. James Henry Tramel Jr. officiating. Burial was in Bayou Scie Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Tyler died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 1984, at Highland Hospital in Shreveport, at 11 a.m. He was 65 years old. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Tyler of Many; two sons, Robert E. Tyler of Marshall, Tex., and Clayton L. Tyler of Willis, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Chreene of Keithville, Mrs. Elizabeth Stegall of Monette, Ark., Miss Rita Tyler of Many, Mrs. Martha Eason of Many; one brother, Jasper B. Tyler of Many; 31 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Dale Tyler, Danny Tyler, Jimmy Chreene, Johnny Chreene, Fred Massey, Steve Massey, Clay Tyler, and Timothy Spears.
