Gerald Wayne Tyler

  Funeral services for Gerald Wayne Tyler, 55, were held on
Friday, Oct 13, at 2 p.m., at the Bayou Scie Methodist Church.
Interment followed in the Bayou Scie Cemetery. Rev. Otha Greer,
Rev. William Campbell, and Rev. Leland Pruitt officiated the
services.

  Mr. Tyler passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the LSU Medical
Center in Shreveport.

  He is survived by his wife, Joyce of Vinton; one daughter,
Beverly Dawn Ellis of Nederland, Texas; one brother, Earl Tyler
of Euless, Texas; one sister, Barbara Akins of Bedford, Texas;
and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were furnished by the American Legion, and VFW of
Vinton.
