Susie Sistrunk Taylor

  Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Sistrunk Taylor, 90, were held
Tuesday, July 24, at 11 a.m., in the Mitchell United Methodist
Church. Interment followed in the Mitchell Cemetery, under the
direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Rev. Oliver Cagle,
pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Mansfield officiated the
services.

  Mrs. Taylor passed away Sunday, July 22, at 6:45 p.m., in
Mansfield at DeSoto General Hospital. She was born January 7,
1900, in Sabine Parish. Her parents were Nicholas and Mary Susan
McDonald Raimond. She had been a homemaker, and at the time of
her death, was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in
Mansfield.

  She is survived by two sons, Buford L. Sistrunk, and Jesse L.
Sistrunk; two daughters, Annie Ruth Sistrunk Ward, and Faye Orine
Sistrunk Mitchell; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and
2 great-great grandchildren.

  Her grandsons served as pallbearers.
