Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Many, La. ---------------- Sabine Index, Jul 18, 2001 Clarification Apologies to the Rev. Arthur Haymon, who is the pastor of the Fort Jesup Baptist Church. The Rev. Haymon, who pastored the church from November 1976 through April 1986, was called to a church in Natchitoches. Unbeknownst to the INDEX staff, he was called back to Fort Jesup in October 1999. The Rev. Haymon officiated at the funeral services of Sommer Taylor, but was not properly identified as the church pastor. It was also noted that Miss Taylor had been baptized in October 2000, almost nine months before her untimely death on July 2.
