He was a native of Many, and was a custodian of Summer Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday, at 2 p.m., in the Summer Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. I. Funderburk, pastor of the church, conducting the rites. Burial, under the direction of Wellman's Funeral Home, was in Forest Park West. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mamie Chandler Taylor; two sons, T. D. Taylor of Shreveport, and H. L. Taylor of Dallas, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. C. E. Mayfield, Mrs. J. A. Glorioso, and Mrs. G. F. Fox, all of Shreveport, and Mrs. E. H. Carr of Houston, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. E. C. Gentry of Many; 12 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
