The Sabine Index - Hoyt L. Tompkins

  30 Aug 1963 - Funeral services were held for Hoyt L. Tompkins
10:30 Thursday, August 22 at Osborn Funeral Home in Shreveport.

  Mr. Tompkins died Tuesday August 20 after a sudden illness.

  Officiating minister was the Rev. Robert Potts associate
pastor of the First Baptist Church of Shreveport. Burial was in
Forest Park Cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow, a son Hoyt L. Tompkins,
Jr. of Springhill; a daughter, Mrs Aura Lea Kenyan of Springhill;
two brothers, J. H. of Shreveport and Horace Tompkins of Many;
three sisters, Mrs. Vernice Wright and Mrs. Reese of Many and
Mrs. Claudine Valentine of Doyline and two grandchildren.
