  Mrs. Clara Scott Thompson, age 72, wife of Mr. Freeman Thompson,
died Wednesday, December 5, 1984, at Sabine Medical Center, Many,
La.

  Funeral services for Mrs. Thompson were held Sunday, December 9,
at 2 p.m., at the St. Peter Baptist Church, Fisher, La., with
Rev. Carl A. Lilly officiating. Services were under the direction
of Jenkins Funeral Home. Interment was at Pilgrim Star Cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband, Mr. Freeman Thompson of Fisher;
mother, Mrs. Florence Robinson Scott of Many; one son, Mr. Alert
Thompson; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Bush, Mrs. Arnice McGaskey,
Mrs. Arecia Cross, all of Many, Mrs. Wavey Jean Waller of Camden,
Arkansas; one brother, Mr. Busty Scott of Alabama; two sisters,
Mrs. Tommie Jean Scott, Mrs. Vital Mae Thompson of Houston,
Texas; one aunt; two uncles; 28 grandchildren; 28 great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
