C. E. Bell officiating. Burial was at Pendleton Assembly of God Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband, Odis Thompson of Merryville; four sons, Jackie Bass of Coushatta, W. D. (Buster) Bass of Pleasant Hill, Karl Thompson, and Darrell Thompson, both of Merryville; six daughters, Janie Nakapalau of Shreveport, Joan Jones of Waco, Tex., Shelia Sims of Bossier City, Dianna Rosscom of Kingwood, Tex., Gwen Williams of Many, and Connie Thompson of Merryville; one sister, Alice Etoye Woods of Natchitoches; father and step mother, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Ayers of Many; 17 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. Pallbearers were A. J. Smith, Alvin Smith, Fate Cooper, Bill Harkness, Arthur Sparks, and Lonnie Woods. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons, Wayne Greer, Travis Williams, John Sims, and Cody Thompson.
