Raymond Pardue Thompson

  Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Pardue Thompson, 73, were held
Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 4 p.m., at the Spring Ridge Baptist Church,
with burial following in the Spring Ridge Cemetery. Rev. E. W.
Goldman officiated.

  Mr. Thompson, who passed away, Sunday, Sept. 3, at 12:20 p.m.,
in the Sabine Medical Center, is survived by his daughter, Lucy
Cartinez of Zwolle; his two sisters, Maxine Thompson, and Jimmie
Touchton, both of Pleasant Hill; four grandchildren; one great
grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his wife, Alma Lee
Thompson; one sister, LaRoe Yawn Tidmore; and a brother, Kirk M.
Thompson.
